This lovely former 1850’s captain's home has been operated as a guesthouse for more than 20 years. It has been totally renovated and constantly updated over the last decade.

The Benchmark Inn was owned by Dan and Daniel, two Swiss men since the Summer of 2011. They handed it over to Steven and Brandon the owners of the 8 Dyer Hotel in Mid-October of 2024.

The owners are dedicated to their guest's satisfaction: „We want to make your stay a memorable one, while we bring award winning hospitality to Provincetown.“ They welcome you in English, Spanish and Greek.

Benchmark Inn, located in the middle of the gallery district on Dyer Street between Bradford and Commercial Streets, welcomes you with a warm and intimate atmosphere to one of our seven fine guestrooms, all of which feature fireplaces and private entrances. Many additionally boast wet bars, spa tubs, private or semi-private outdoor space and spectacular views.
