Exciting News - New Owners
After 14 successful years with many wonderful experiences, unforgettable
hours and interesting conversations with the guests, Dan and Daniel handed over the Benchmark Inn to the neighbors at the 8 Dyer Hotel in mid-October 2024.
Guests now benefit not only from the great experience of the new owners Steve and Brandon but also from the amenities of the 8 Dyer Hotel, such as the outdoor swimming pool, indoor whirlpool and sauna.

"Dan and Daniel, the two owners /managers go the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one: they will pick you up or bring your bags free of charge to the airport or boat pier. Freshly baked cakes, ice tea and fresh fruit are available all day long. The breakfast is superb and the rooms very comfortable. "We couldn't find fault with The Benchmark Inn. Even after 10 days staying there - the quality, comfort, service and top standards never dropped. Highly recommend it. The attention to detail was second to none. From the soft bed linen to the generous toiletries, the perfect room temperature and state of the art AC unit, the great room views, the delicious homemade breakfast treats, the healthy breakfast options, the quaint garden area, the beach being 1 minute walk, the main restaurant/shops/galleries/bars efc area being a few minutes walk away yet the Inn is on a quiet street, the provision of beach chairs / towels and umbrella shade, the host(s) - extremely friendly, cheerful, attentive, very helpful with recommendations & questions, the wooden floors, the stylish contemporary décor, the place is 100% spotless, all rooms have own private entrance so lots of privacy, each room has own outdoor space & furniture, the place is simply 10/10.
